Floating, Falling, Colliding, and Drifting

An interesting perspective of Cosmonauts, defying gravity in an abandon environment of buildings and landscapes, where Jeremy Geddes begin to explore the concept which began from a vision that slowly evolved. His medium is oil on linen or oil or board. Jeremy explains his process by using traditional techniques in his paintings by working in layers of composition colour and tone, then drawn and mapped out with washes of colour before the painting begins. He then finalizes with glazes, and working with depth, colour and textures. Jeremy stated that he will expand on this series of work, and I am excited to see additional Cosmonauts in the near future.

Jeremy Geddes is located in Melbourne, Australia. He studied painting at Victorian College of the Arts. His work has been published on numerous publications, and he has exhibited his work globally.
