Chocolate Obsession

If you ever find yourself in San Francisco, visit Recchiuti Confections located inside The Ferry Building Marketplace.  There are so many flavors to choose: Burnt Caramel, Rose Caramel, Candied Orange Peel, Kona Coffee, Lavender Vanilla, Honeycomb Malt, Tarragon Grapefruit, Spring Jasmine Tea, and lots more.  Once you arrive, you will definitely notice the beauty from their chocolate presentation to their packaging.  Their assorted chocolates are carefully laid out behind a glass case on the counter, easily to glance at every single flavor.

The Engine Room is responsible for their excellent branding which is very beautiful, sophisticated and elegant.  It has a mixture of tradition, yet trendy.  The design is very consistent in their packaging, website, retail store design, etc.  It definitely puts their sweets on a pedestal, and in my opinion, tells me that they are passionate about their chocolate.

I have to admit, I've bought a lot of their assorted chocolates, Key Lime Apples and Pears, and their Pâtes de Fruits.  They are very delicious and fresh.  Each chocolate is a burst of life.  As for their packaging, I actually have their boxes displayed on my desk.  If you never get a chance to visit their retail store, order it online.
