Drew Murray has no prior experience in photography, surprisingly he captures the images with an artistic point of view by usage of saturated colors, cool versus warm hues, contrast, composition, and focal points. For someone who is self-taught, he definitely has talent. Drew began photography two years ago when he was inspired by
Tommy Oshima. He admires the notion of capturing the mundane subjects in a different light of beauty.
Drew Murray is from Mount Vernon, Washington. He uses Nikon D90 with 50mm f1.2 Mudan TLR. Although most of his photography is digital, he is beginning to shoot on film as an added option to his work.
