Viewing the work Jason Limón's paintings in person puts me in a state of awe, the degraded style with great color choices and textural effects of acrylic on canvas. Some of his paintings are dissected and puzzled back to completion. His distinct visions are truly creative and inspiring.Jason Limón studied fine arts and graphic design at San Antonio College in Texas. Upon years of experience as a designer with numerous awards, he decided to transition from a digital graphic designer to a traditional painter, developing his artistic style and self expression. Check out his current group exhibition "Into The Mystic" at 1988 Gallery in San Francisco, which will run until December 5, and another group show at Strychnin, titled "Magistrates" in Berlin, Germany, ending on December 6. Lastly, a solo show "Tranfiguration" at Rotofugi in Chicago, Illinois on March 19 - April 4, 2010.
