These images are haunting yet fascinating, as thoughts provoke my mind with intrigue. Monzuki asked Tom Haubrick, illustrator of these mystifying and interesting images. Tom explains, "Basically, the men are representative of the light coming out of darkness. The black covering them is the thought of not knowing, confusion, frustration, all that clouds the mind at times. The light coming from some of them is hope. It's the moment where the cloud start to break and there is light peeking through. Some see more than others, some see not at all."
